About me

I assist people in identifying and moving through barriers to living their best life, and seek to provide a non-judgmental safe space for sharing and growth. I believe there is great power in the therapist/client relationship, and that people often develop into the best version of themselves once they feel truly seen and heard. Although grief, confusion, and trauma can be part of the human experience, it is my goal to assist people in accessing the freedom and joy that is waiting on the other side. I feel honored to play even small part in someone's healing journey.

I specialize in trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, end of life decisions, chronic illness, and life transitions. Because I am a believer in the mind/body connection, I often utilize Mindfulness techniques in working with clients. Other modalities include EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy.

I am a Behavioral Health Officer in the TN Army National Guard. In my private therapy practice I often work with service members, veterans, law enforcement personnel, and first responders. It is an honor to serve these men and women, as they make daily sacrifices for our community and nation

Lindsey is awesome! This is my first experience with any type of counseling and I was terrified and didn't know what to expect. The moment we first talked I realized how wrong I was. It's an amazing experience. She listens to all I have to say and always seems to know what I need to hear. I would recommend her and this service to everyone.

Lindsey has been very supportive of the multiple issues I have going on. She listens and is very understanding. I feel better just in the couple of interactions together.

Lindsey has been everything I needed and more, it's so clear that she truly cares about each and every one of her clients / subscribers! She puts so much more effort into helping me than I ever thought someone would over messaging and the phone! She truly is a wonderful help and I couldn't imagine being matched with another counselor!
