Hello! My name is Lindsey and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I have worked with individuals and couples in a variety of settings and capacities for the last 10 years. I have worked at a crisis facility, done case management for teens, worked as a school therapist at a middle school and a high school, and provided adult and couple's therapy at a community mental health clinic. Through all of these very different experiences, one thing has stayed the same- I love being able to meet people where they are at in their lives in that moment, and together, find a way to help them help themselves in improving their mental health and wellness. I have experience working with preteens, teens, adults, and couples, and have helped many people learn to manage stress, reduce anxiety, decrease their depression, improve their relationships, and navigate life transitions. I focus on building strong connections with the people I work with, as I feel that therapy starts with the warmth, empathy and compassion provided in the therapeutic relationship. I am a Client-Centered therapist, with a diverse skill set. I believe in coming to my clients with an open mind from a place of non-judgement, getting to know my clients and their unique circumstances, thoughts, and feelings, collaborating with them to identify what their goals are. I tailor treatment and interventions to fit my clients and their specific needs from my experience in several treatment modalities, including Dialectal Behavioral therapy, Emotion-Focused therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy. I look forward to working with you, whether that be to help you process your emotions, develop coping skills, or finding a way to move forward along your life's path.

She has helped me clear my mind and heart so that I can walk life with a lighter mind and heart regardless of the hurdles that stay indefinitely or that come periodically. She listens well. She is objective about whatever you may share with her and never pressures you to think or feel a certain way.
Absolutely incredible. She asks questions that help me to reflect and make decisions best for me, offers really helpful suggestions, and is so incredibly empathetic. I am so grateful to have found her!
I’m grateful for this therapeutic relationship that I have with Lindsey. She asks great questions and she listens very well. I like how she keeps good notes on the topics we discuss, and she helps weave themes together and connect dots that I’ve previously had difficulty connecting on my own. Lindsey is approachable and makes me feel comfortable during each session, even as she pushes me to sit with uncomfortable ideas. I also very much appreciate how she affirms even the smallest bit of progress that I make.
