About Me

I’m so excited you’ve taken the first step towards living your best life by reaching out for support and look forward to supporting you on your individual journey. I’m Lindsey Parks and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado. I’ve been working in the helping professions for 15 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, as well as, a Masters of Social Work. I have worked with individuals struggling with anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, family of origin struggles and depression.

I utilize a Cognitive-Behavioral and Solution Focused approach to support people in creating goals about what they would like their life to look like and then helping them explore the next steps to take to make this a reality. I believe my role, as a therapist, is to support people in identifying thoughts, feelings and beliefs that result in behaviors that are incongruent with the way they’d like their life to be. By first identifying these thoughts, feelings and beliefs together you will gain insight and ability to do this individually to gain greater control of your actions and behaviors in order to make lasting change in your life.

I look forward to connecting with you and embarking on this journey together!

Lindsey is brilliant at guiding me towards the things I really need to focus on and asking questions that help me realise what is going on. After each session I feel like I have work to do, things to think about and explore. She's exceptional and I strongly recommend her to you.

Lindsey Parks is attentive and insightful, with nuanced views on behavior that pay attention to the whole of a problem and a person rather than just the surface level, while still addressing those surface level issues upfront and solving the most pressing needs outright.
