About me
Welcome! I'm glad you are here. My name is Lindsey and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I have over 5 years of experience working in the mental health field, including working in a variety of settings such as in the office, in home, and in the community including schools from primary to high school. I have worked with clients from age 4 to adults with a multitude of presenting issues such as trauma, depression, self-harm, anxiety, anger, relationship and family conflicts, mild autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities, adjustment difficulties, and self-esteem. My counseling style is warm, supportive, and interactive. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling.
I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I believe in collaboration- together we can work on establishing concrete goals and steps for you to help overcome your current difficulties. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I know first hand that getting help can be a challenge and that it takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take those first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you through your journey, whatever that may be.
I look forward to working with you!

Fast response times
I have been working with Lindsey for a couple months now. I have made a lot of progress handling fears brought on by past traumas, and she has helped me move on with recent grief. She is a great listener, very supportive, and is always looking for ways to improve herself as a therapist. I look forward to my sessions with her.
Lindsey has been very responsive! Her reminders are incredibly helpful. I’ve enjoyed working with her this far.
Lindsey has been amazing! I feel like I clicked with her immediately and she has a great understanding of what I’m looking for and how to help me take steps to improve myself! She genuinely cares and has made this experience very smooth running for me :)
