I have worked as a social worker in New Jersey for the past five years in a variety of settings. I have helped individuals in a variety of situations including: navigating the stress of unemployment and securing employment, resolving crises and conflict in families and personal relationships, and working with those struggling with a variety of mental health diagnoses.
I maintain a collaborative approach while also using compassion, humor, and optimism throughout all sessions. I typically follow theories of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to guide our sessions, as there are a vast amount of concrete skills and strategies that individuals can use to successfully achieve their goals. I want anyone I work with to feel they can come to a session and speak openly and candidly about whatever is on their mind. I feel confident we can accomplish whatever we set out to, together.

Lindsey is great, I was skeptical about using this service but in our last discussion Lindsey listened, validated my concerns, and came up with some great ideas to help me cope with my anxiety and self esteem issues. Definitely recommend her!
