I have worked as a social worker in New Jersey for the past five years in a variety of settings. I have helped individuals in a variety of situations including: navigating the stress of unemployment and securing employment, resolving crises and conflict in families and personal relationships, and working with those struggling with a variety of mental health diagnoses.
I maintain a collaborative approach while also using compassion, humor, and optimism throughout all sessions. I typically follow theories of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to guide our sessions, as there are a vast amount of concrete skills and strategies that individuals can use to successfully achieve their goals. I want anyone I work with to feel they can come to a session and speak openly and candidly about whatever is on their mind. I feel confident we can accomplish whatever we set out to, together.
Taking the step to begin therapy is a powerful moment in someone’s life. I look forward to the opportunity of getting to work together!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, she’s the best!
She’s a great listener and has great knowledge about the things I go through. Very helpful.
She's really great, even when she isn't online she replies in a quick timely manner and always tries to keep me positive and thinking about the bigger picture of any difficult situation I am in.
Lindsey is great! She is humorous and personable, which are two traits I think are necessary in a counselor. She offers excellent feedback and has helped me identify and work to solve various issues in my life. I truly look forward to our sessions and feel like my life has greatly improved!
Lindsey has made me feel comfortable from our very first session. She makes me feel cared about and has already helped me build up my self worth so much in the few weeks we have been working together. I am very happy I got matched with her and have nothing but good things to say!
Lindsey is great, I was skeptical about using this service but in our last discussion Lindsey listened, validated my concerns, and came up with some great ideas to help me cope with my anxiety and self esteem issues. Definitely recommend her!
