Hello and Welcome. I am so glad you are here. If you struggle with the following, you have come to the right place.
Have you ever experienced a transition in life?
Have you ever felt like you couldn’t get your brain to slow down?
Have you ever struggled with connecting with others on a deep and personal level?
Have you ever started something to only lose interest half way through?
Have you ever felt like you don’t fit in, or simply are not good enough?
Have you ever felt grief?
Have you ever felt like life is spinning out of control?
If you have ever felt this way you have made an amazing step to talk with someone. Life can be overwhelming and challenging at times and working with a therapist to assist you with identifying the struggles, fears and symptoms is the first step.
So welcome, my name is Lisa Ali and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Colorado. I have been a therapist for over a decade and a half and I enjoy helping people find their best selves and find ways to show up in this world as their authentic self. Over the years I have worked with families, teens, couples, women and men. My treatment approach is of an eclectic manner. I believe in meeting people physically, emotionally, and mentally where they are in their journey. I believe each person is their own expert, you are resourceful, creative and whole sometimes we just need the support, guidance and therapeutic nurturing to realize our gifts.
Therapeutically I chose to use techniques from a variety of modalities such as solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, strength based, reality based and other tools such as learn how to tune into your body and begin listening to the messages it is sending. I tend to assess people as a whole and not in parts in order to assist you in moving forward towards your ultimate goal.
Change can be hard, but change can also be freeing. So if you are ready to work towards change and want a therapist who will encourage, challenge and support you I’m ready when you are. Let’s GO!
