Lisa received her Master’s Degree in counseling from the University of Montevallo. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts from Birmingham Southern College. Lisa has been in the counseling profession for over 10 years and she continues to combine her experience in the creative arts with the counseling process. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) , a Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) , and recently received her certification in Recovery Focused Cognitive Therapy (CT-R). Lisa specializes in mood and addictive disorders and utilizes patient-center techniques to facilitate change. She hopes to provide a safe and nurturing environment that will empower and inspire individuals toward growth and healing.
