About me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona. I earned my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2013 and I have been working in community behavioral health ever since. I love working with individuals, children, teens, couples, and families to help them tackle through their stressors and emotions they struggle with on a daily basis. I believe that everyone can benefit from some form of counseling in their lives. My goals are to help you work through the concerns that you may have so that you feel the most effective in going out and managing your life on your own.

I believe that you are the best guide in identifying what needs to be worked on, therefore I make sure that you feel in charge of your goals in counseling. I believe that we are all unique and I try to cater your goals to best meet the individual that you are.

In my practice in Arizona, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches to work through life changes, depression, trauma, stress, grief, anxiety, personality concerns, PTSD, and struggles in achieving personal goals. I try to get an understanding of you as a whole person and help you with skills to improve the quality of your life along with working through your past.

I look forward to getting to know you and helping you find a better quality of life!

Lisa is always completely attentive to me and my mental struggles and the patterns I subconsciously have that she will help me work through. Even when its hard for me to get on she makes sure to reach out and keep checking on me so I remember and don't fall too far away from my treatment

Lisa has been great in listening to me and offering ideas and solutions to help me move forward. She is easy to talk to and I can honestly feel no judgements coming from her. She is helping me grow in ways that I could not do alone.

Although I have just engaged in just a few conversations with my therapist, I'm completely over the skepticism I initially had and I'm really glad I sought help for what I am going through. Lisa is very perceptive and I feel better after discussing things with her. I don't feel judged and I really feel she has my best interests at heart like a friend I've known for years would. I am going to continue with my therapy as needed since BetterHelp makes it easy to re-engage with my counselor at any time. I was a skeptic but now I'm sold that this is a worthwhile product.
