About Me

Hello! I am Lisa, a Licensed Psychological Practitioner with 12 years of clinical experience. My ultimate goal in therapy is to be your ally. This may mean that we are battling anxious and ruminative thoughts, processing life stressors, or working through things that trouble you from your past. My identity as an ally is very important to me and I have a great deal of experience working with individuals who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, trans, queer, or questioning. I am also recently trained in racial trauma therapy and am here to be your ally as you process these experiences, strengthen your values, and gain coping skills.

I have experience in several different settings: community mental health, post-acute residential rehabilitation for Acquired/Traumatic Brain Injury, and private practice. I use a wide variety of modalities, including dialectical behavior, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment, attachment, and intersectional therapies.

I am looking forward to working with you!

Lisa has been a complete blessing in my life. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, considerate, and informative. I had tried counseling in the past with someone else and it just didn’t seem to click for me. I’m very grateful to have given it a second chance because I can tell a huge difference with Lisa. She’s obviously very skilled and asks the questions that really make you think. I would highly recommend her services.

Lisa is a great counselor. She made me feel comfortable from our very first session. But outside of that, she also provided me with solutions and things that I could take away, which I appreciated. She is a great listener and very knowledgeable. 5 out of 5 stars for sure.

Since the introduction ive been blown away with Lisa’s promptness and her knowledge. For the first time I feel like I have a therapist who actually speaks the same language as me and really listens and offers good insight and direction.
