Lisa Brashear, LPC
About me
My name is Lisa and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. Are you suffering from low self-esteem, anxiety or depression, just trying to make it through another day? Life can and IS meant to be joyful and fulfilling. Are you or a loved one struggling with addictions? Perhaps you've experienced a recent loss, or your relationship is on the rocks. Feelings of grief can be very overwhelming. You desire more from your life, but feel stuck. If you would like to talk to someone you can be at ease with and trust, to understand what is going on with you, I will help you create the life you want. I offer a free 15 minute phone or video consultation.
There are many gains to be made in ones well-being through a therapeutic relationship with a trained, compassionate and knowledgeable counselor. There is no trauma too great to overcome and no past too dark to be illuminated. I can help you get to the bottom of chronic problems and behaviors that have kept you stuck in self-destructive patterns.
I understand the role that shame and self-loathing plays in the disease of all addictions. Often, trauma is at the root of our acting-out behaviors. I offer compassionate counseling and help clients rebuild their relationship with themselves to form a positive attitude toward and in their lives. Change is possible and improving life is something most seek and it is attainable!
