About me

I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in North Carolina with significant experience working with anxiety, depression, interpersonal violence, traumatic experiences, life transitions, and compassion fatigue. I believe you are the expert on you, but we all need a little help to find our way through life. I can listen and offer you support, encouragement, suggestions, and a safe space to explore. As a therapist and individual, I believe in the inherent value and worth of each person and approach each individual with dignity and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs, and will adapt to changes along the way. I am an advocate for change and social justice and will acknowledge and collaborate on issues involving discrimination, marginalization, and social oppression as they arise both individually and/or systemically in order to facilitate growth and healing. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.
