About me

As a wife, mother, and stepmother, I believe family and personal relationships are the cornerstones of personal well-being and success. Holding deep empathy and authentic attunement with my clients, I seek to empower them to create their lives from a fulfilling and dynamic perspective. Integrating a variety of clinical skills and modalities, I tailor each session to support my client’s strengths and goals. When working with a couple or family system, I acknowledge the needs and experiences of each individual, seek to strengthen secure bonds within family relationships, and ultimately support the development and overall well-being of each individual within the family unit.
I have earned both a Master and Doctorate degree in Counseling; specializing in Transpersonal aspects including Mindfulness-based practices, somatic experience, Mind-body medicine, creative expression, and integrative spiritual practice. I also focus on extremely client-centered approaches including motivational interviewing and psychosynthesis, which support the innate desires and wisdom of each client, rather than attempting to impose external goals or treatment plans. I am licensed to practice in this state, and always adhere to a strict code of ethics.
With years of experience working with families who have children with special needs, I understand how difficult it can be for patients to deal with emotional issues such as life transitions, financial difficulties, death, divorce, blended families, step-parenting, physical or substance abuse along with many other experiences that can affect their health and well-being. I have worked with clients suffering from Eating disorders, Personality disorders, Mood disorders, Suicidality, Spiritual Crisis, and many other presenting issues. I am familiar with a variety of techniques that serve stabilize crisis, trauma, and grief situations, and am comfortable working with both long and short-term treatment models.
It is my goal to provide the best care for all patients within my practice, so they can respond to their current experience from a place of clarity and empowerment.
