About Me

Hello! I am so glad you are here. Asking for help takes courage. I get it! Maybe you feel stuck, anxious, depressed and wondering what is next. I think I can help.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that is licensed to practice in Indiana and Tennessee. With over 10 years of experience in the counseling field , I bring a genuine and compassionate approach to therapy and believe change is encouraged in a nonjudgmental, relational and hopeful environment. I have successfully worked with families addressing child-parent relationships, coparenting and building stronger attachments in the family system. My experience also includes addressing anxiety, depression and grief/loss. I am trained in EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization And Reprocessing) , CBT ( Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), (DBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy and several attachment based interventions. I have experience with working with trauma and believe that EMDR is very effective in addressing trauma ( all types of trauma) as well and anxiety and depression.

I graduated from Indiana University in 2011 with my degree in Social Work. I knew I wanted to be a clinical therapist so I finished my licensure hours and set my goal to work in the clinical setting. I thrive working with families and believe that everyone wants to be known, understood and loved. My other experience includes child advocacy, foster care and community mental health.

My counseling style is warm, respectful and understanding. I believe that your story matters! I want you to finish therapy feeling empowered and resilient. I tailor treatment goals to address your desires and will take a strengths-based approach to treatment. Therapy is worth the investment and I hope we can work together.
