About Me

If you are reading this you are making the first step towards finding solutions to your problems. My job is to help you along the path to discovery by leading you the way. You have all the answers within, it's my job to help you bring them to the surface in order to find the peace and happiness you deserve.

I have a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Counseling. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in the State of Florida since 2005 and a State of Florida Qualified Supervisor since 2011. I teach Psychology at Miami Dade College and I have worked for over 15 years as a School Guidance Counselor.

My specialties include working with adolescents, teens, young adults, adults, couples and families in group or individual sessions. I work with blended families and the stressors associated with divorce, re-marriage and merging of families. A collaborative therapeutic relationship is the goal of therapy while encouraging positive growth, change and relationship building with my clients. By utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and many different modalities of Relationship Therapies I am able to offer my clients tools and strategies for growth, stability and success.

Dr Reiss is an excellent therapist. She is warm, open, and positive, which makes it easy to discuss any range of issues with her.
