About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that is licensed to practice in the State of California. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and I graduated from Humboldt State University with my Masters of Social Work which required me to fulfill 480 hours of internship in the field. Since my graduation in 2016, I have been working with clients as well as providing counseling to people in my local community. I have worked with many different types and ages of people, from young children, youth, adults, to seniors in the course of my experience. I am knowledgable about challenges and issues of the modern age of technology, and with the current state of the pandemic and aftermath that it will cause, keeping in contact with others will be crucial to our health and wellbeing as a society and we will do this more and more by social media, the internet, and telephone.

My number one priority as your counselor/therapist will be to focus on the issues you have chosen, which I will guide you to examine and resolve for yourself. I will not “make you better” or “solve your problems” for you as you have this ability and I can help with that. You hold all of the potential. You may not be feeling that now, but I will be there to help you deal with these challenges that you are facing.

I am a cisgendered female (she/her/hers) that works with youth, young adults, adults and seniors in my telehealth practice online. I work with those with little time during the regular work day to take time out for themselves, by also working weekends and some evenings during the week. I want to see people who need help with making decisions and accepting self care into their own lives.
My specialty is childhood trauma, those with anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. I also am gender-transition friendly.

I truly believe that each and every one of us benefit in some way from having a no-judgement, unbiased person who has no knowledge of our circumstances to talk with, vent with and bounce ideas off. Also, those suffering from past or current trauma responses need someone that they trust, who will not betray their confidence, to help work on those issues.

Lisa is very sympathetic and empathetic towards me. She is a great listener and I have seen an improvement in my mood and well being since I’ve started therapy with her.

I’ve been with Lisa the past month and she has this funny way of giving what you need vs what you think you need. She’s patient, kind, and involved. She makes you feel respected without saying a word.

Lisa is a very close listener. She understands things quickly. She is also good about drawing out things I have felt and putting them into words.
