About Me

We all want a happy and connected life, but sometimes achieving this feels impossible. At times, feelings of sadness, anxiety, fear, and loneliness can take over, and it feels impossible to shake yourself loose. Eventually, we feel overwhelmed and shut down under the weight of it all.
I work closely with you to recognize what is no longer working and develop new skills that do. My passion is working with adults, and those in relationships, and I specialize in anger, anxiety, communication, depression, infidelity, trauma, and trust related issues as well as sex and intimacy.

I have been in the counseling profession for over thirteen years and my educational background includes doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology, a master's in school counseling (2007), a bachelor's in psychology (2004), and post graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) (2009) and Psycho-Educational assessment (2018). Additionally, I have professional training in Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) (2019), and I am currently in the process of completing the requirements to be a Certified Sex Therapist (CST) and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology.

I have worked with adults and couples both online and in person, and I have day and evening appointments available. My approach is Solution-Focused; so, we will begin with an end goal in mind. My sessions are structured, but relaxed, and I start by getting to know you; so, counseling will always feel comfortable and safe. Throughout this process, I will invite you to communicate with me openly and honestly as well as provide several opportunities for you to practice new skills in session and in daily life. Using the skills learned in counseling, we will work together to achieve your goals and bring happiness back to your life.
