About me

I’m glad you’re here. Making a choice to begin therapy can be overwhelming; however, perhaps one of the most important things you can do for yourself. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients and see the potential for healing and to explore their true self and identity. I have worked in the mental health field for 10 years and utilize an integrative approach; consisting of CBT (cognitive/behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). I also have worked extensively with eating issues/eating disorders, low self-esteem, low self worth, and body image issues. If connecting to and/or growing your faith perspective is central to you and an important piece of your therapy process, I also offer Christian counseling, however I am not limited to this; as I respect you as an unique individual with a unique story.

I look forward to working with you!

Lisa is great! She is a great listener and really helps me on a regular basis. I love her ideas on worksheets ;)

Lisa is a great therapist. She is a great listener, and even asks for clarifying questions if she doesn’t think that she clearly understands. I also appreciate the little assignments. I get here and there I think of them often whether I do them or not. They help me move forward through whatever it is I’m working on.

I just love her . She's extremely nonjudgmental and really takes the time to explore what's going on and gets to the root of the problem . I had a lot of childhood trauma to deal with and just from a few sessions she got to the deep stuff ! Would highly recommend:)
