Are you feeling stressed, confused, depressed, anxious, or angry?
Do you have a teen or child with emotional or behavioral problems?
Do you want to feel happier, more passionate, more satisfied with your life and relationships?
Are you having difficulty communicating your needs within your relationships or career?
Often, life gets away from us before we realize how quickly things have changed. Life is a process of personal growth and evolution. It is also a process of building and maintaining relationships with people in a world that is constantly in flux.
If you are looking to develop greater insight into these concerns, counseling is a great place to start.
In my Individual Therapy and Family Therapy practice, I focus on partnering with you to explore challenges around interpersonal relationships, behavioral problems, sexual identity and behaviors, self-esteem, core beliefs/values, and many other aspects of life.
In counseling, I also incorporate techniques from a variety of theoretical orientations, placing an emphasis on collaboration and client-identified goals. I explore with clients how emotional and psychological obstacles from the past and in the present interfere with attaining goals and optimal day-to-day functioning.
My innate curiosity, desire to help, and love for people, allow me to create a healing environment for my clients and provide them with results.
As the poet Khalil Gibran said, "To get to the dawn of a new day, you must first pass through the darkness of a night." It is actually during these times of great hardship that individuals find great rewards.

Lisa is fantastic. I felt like talking to a good friend, who is listening concsiously, asking the right questions and saying exactly the right Things at the right moment. I greatly appreciate our time together and thank you for doing such a great Job. Much Love, Miriam
Thank you Lisa. I sincerely appreciate your open ears. You are amazing and have helped me deal with my ever changing life. Thank you.
I have been in therapy with Lisa for a year. My mother passed away, family went nuts blaming each other here and there, plenty of betrayals, some of the family members almost losing their sanity, and other family issues that I had to deal at the same time. Lisa helped me a lot to keep me sane and carry me to the light again. Her patience and expertise guided me to be a better human being..
Lisa is fantastic. She listens and suggests the right follow ups for ME.
Lisa Stillion is is a great therapist and is there for me like a friend

She's great and very supportive of my needs and non-judgemental
Lisa has been a good listener. I had a big decision to make, and she challenged me to make sure sure I made the right decision for myself. When I made a decision, she supported it 100%, regardless of what decision I made.
Lisa is really understanding and supportive, working with her made it easier to speak about some of the most difficult things I’m going through. She was really timely with her advices that coincided with my needs at the time to help me get through some problems I’ve been working on.
Lisa has been a tremendous help. I appreciate her kind guidance and understanding of the situation. She is very open to feedback and provides very coachable opportunities which allow me to address the train of thought which occurs with my current mindset. She is able to approach delicate issues in a way where it does not feel intrusive and able to provide insight and guidance to the problem at hand. I am extremely grateful for her feedback and mannerisms.
Lisa is very attentive during sessions and communicates well.

From the short time meeting with Lisa she has already changed my life in so many ways. I couldn't thank her enough
She is incredibly well versed in many issues and facilitates metacognition at an amazing rate to come to resolutions of long term emotional traumas. I could not be more satisfied.
Lisa is experienced, knowledgeable and patient, which are all priority attributes I was seeking. She also has flexible time slots available which help with my busy schedule.
Lisa has been extremely helpful in creating a safe space as we get to know one another. She has held me accountable and challenged me to analyze situations further, while also giving me space and autonomy to decide what is best for me during each session. I appreciate her candid and relatable approach. She has a way of making you feel seen and understood in a very natural way.
Lisa is very easy to talk to and I always feel heard. She also occasionally sends quick CBT exercises to listen to that have been very helpful!
I like her. She’s helping me alot
Being connected to my therapist has been so helpful. Before talking with Lisa, I felt like I kept doing the same things over and over because I didn’t have the knowledge /tools to break the pattern.
