About me

I believe that the relationship we have with ourselves is extended into our relationships with others. I also believe that life can become unsatisfying when we get stuck in old issues and injuries.

I use a client-centered approach to therapy. That means that I trust and follow you into and through unresolved issues that interfere with fulfilling relationships with yourself and others. I also use an active model of therapy in that I will ask you to go beyond your stories and connect with yourself. I find that Coherence Therapy works well and efficiently for clients. This model assumes that people are intelligent and would not continue with self-defeating symptoms unless these symptoms are an unconscious means for getting some reward, usually in the past. You can learn more about Coherence Therapy at www.coherencetherapy.org.

For most people, effective psychotherapy requires a shift in lifestyle and involves a commitment to be curious about and connected with your experience of yourself. Personal change requires courage and commitment.
