About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and holds certification as a trauma professional for adults. I have almost 30 years of experience working in social service and mental health in a variety of settings which includes community-based settings, hospitals, and outpatient clinic. I specialize in working with adults presenting with trauma, anxiety disorder, abuse, ADHD, learning disabilities, and Autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
The counseling approach I use tends to be an integrated perspective which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person -Centered Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy and other modalities that would fit the client for the best result possible. I also use art and music therapy to support clients in expressing themselves. I believe in journeying with the client for their total success.
