Hello, my name is Lorry and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Utah with an undergraduate degree in Human Services. I have worked with children and families for over 20 years with direct clinical interventions for the past 6 years. My scope of practice includes looking at the person as a whole. This includes looking at your support system, self care, coping skills, diet, exercise and basic needs. What works for some may not work for all and this is a collaboration to meet you where you are and expand on your current strengths. Lorry is by far a down to earth person. She listens, suggests things to try, and very professional. She makes me feel I'm talking to a best friend. I didn't think I could talk to a stranger but she made me feel like a friend from our first encounter. I felt very comfortable talking to her. Thank you lorry for being far from what I was expecting a therapist to be. I appreciate you!!!

Lorry has been absolutely amazing to work with and while I was expecting to merely hold ground or make modest gains when I first began to work with her, instead I have made large advances working with her! She has been truly outstanding.

I just completed three months with Lorry Stufflebeam as my therapist and she helped me tremendously. From the very beginning, she listened to all of my issues and tried her best to understand where I was coming from. She always validated what I was going through, but at the same time told me what I needed to hear, even if it was something I didn't want to acknowledge about myself or a situation.
It almost felt like she was acting as a mother for me, comforting me when I needed comfort and giving me advice when I could use it. She always responded quickly to my messages even when she had personal things going on. Lorry is a very warm and welcoming person, the kind of person that can tell you things objectively while still showing she cares. Instead of just telling me the answer I was looking for, she helped guide me with finding the answers within myself. I'll never forget what she did in my life.

Lorry has been great! I was very hesitant to switch counselors when I started using betterhelp. I'm super glad that I did, and got Lorry! She is knowledgable and listens, has great resources, etc. I'm thankful she's my counselor (:

She helped a lot! It was nice to have someone immediately understand what I was going through, and describe things back to me better than I could have phrased them myself. She gave me a few key pieces of advice that made all the difference. Thank you!!

I have loved working with Lorry, she has been incredible in supplying me with the tools I need to work on the healing process in the face of loss. She is really great at checking in with me but also gives me the space I need to respond in a timeframe that works for me- I get overwhelmed easily and she has been very supportive in the small growth that has occurred over the past few months but reminds me to look at the victories, even if they're small.

Written on Dec 24, 2018 after therapy with Lorry for 4 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, and self esteem
First of all, I am so grateful for how Lorry was able to get right at the top of my situation. And I don't think that I could have done as well with my own family or the holidays if it wasn't for her. It seems cliche but she was literally a life preserver just when I truly needed it the most. I feel that I am not alone, and I know that I don't have to let my thoughts or personal judgments about myself defeat all the progress that I have made so far. For me personally these 4 months are hard. And I can't believe that if I didn't find Lorry, I didn't know what to expect.
So once again I am so grateful for Lorry. She is my best present this year for with her help I know I can get through the whole process of getting well.
