Dr. Bordisso has an incredibly philosophical and logical approach to therapy that is refreshing and incredibly helpful to someone who prefers a bit more of a scientific approach. He does a great job of helping navigate the rational space without forgetting about how emotions are affecting it. It's a rare balance I haven't had in most therapists, who tend to be further invested in the emotional processing side. In addition, he always shows care in what I'm saying and never makes me feel judged or dumb for anything I say or expressed. Absolutely incredibly therapist!

Lou is amazing. Honestly understands how to talk through things with me. He can pivot quickly to metaphors that relate to me and knows when to push on issues and when to help me reflect on others. He’s the best therapist I’ve ever had. I’ve made more progress in the last few months than I have in years of therapy before this

This therapist was not at all helpful to me, it just infuriates me and makes me realize that this is why I keep leaving therapy. Short sessions, rushed ending, no willingness to actually communicate like a human, but to just throw out some hot button terms at me. Fuck this.

I really like Dr. Bordisso's therapy style and I had multiple therapists in my life but I think he did a really great job in understanding the issues and I could tell that he was experienced in his field - I had to cancel my subscription because I am moving into a new city and settling down costs a lot but I am excited to work with him in the future if possible.
