About Me

My degree is in Art Therapy, but I have experience in many modalities of talk therapy, and prefer a Person Centered or Humanistic approach, and use other techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have experience in providing therapy for the substance abuse and co-occurring disorders population. I have years of experience with children, teens, and adults. I have done couples counseling and worked with an array of issues including depression, anxiety, personal development and more.
My style is a warm and compassionate approach, and I use active listening when interacting with clients. People at the hospitals, residential centers, and clinics I have worked at have described my personality and demeanor has having a calming effect on others.
I am here to provide safe and supportive therapy for you and believe everyone has the ability to make positive changes from within.
As a Native American I have insight into Native American issues and culture as well.

Lucas is a fantastic counsellor. He checks up on me regularly and always knows the right questions to ask and the right things to say. Thanks Lucas. :)
