About me
Often, therapy opens the door to discovering a sense of purpose, cultivating resiliency, finding courage, and creating a richer and more pleasant experience of day to day life. Therapy is both a rewarding and challenging experience that has the potential to provide a number of benefits including resolution of the initial problem, increased positive outlook, and improved relationships. This is a place to go deeper, connect the past to the present, work on behavior change, cultivate coping strategies, work through difficult experiences/thoughts/emotions, and develop an appealing view of the future. Individual therapy will incorporate an assessment including personal history, treatment planning, and evaluation of treatment and possible outcomes.
Personally: I am married to a spectacular woman and we have two cute little girls under 3 years old. I am a Wisconsin native, both nerd and outdoorsman. I enjoy exquisite coffee, board games, fishing, reading, camping, and gardening among other hobbies.
Professionally: My primary interests and expertise are in working with adults. My strengths are helping people to navigate grief, sadness, confusion, fear, uncertainty, addiction, a sense of being stuck, other unpleasant thoughts and emotions, creating healthy relationships, impulse control, making important life decisions, as well as general men's and Women's issues.
