Lynette Wishart, LMFT
About me
Welcome, my name is Lynette Wishart, MA, LCMFT/LMFT. I am a licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Kansas, Missouri, and California. I began in the “people-helping” business almost three decades ago in non-profit organizations before receiving my clinical counseling licensure in 2008 and have since worked in settings like private practice, crisis response, military installations, school based, and academia. Some populations I have enjoyed working with include young adults/college age, military personnel and their families, pastors and faith-based issues, women, single moms, and couples. Being mindful that everyone has their own processing style so I try to personalize my approach to the individual or couple as each will approach engagement uniquely. Beginning with your personal goals, combined with Attachment Theory as a basis and a strengths-based mindset, I endeavor to utilize a good fit approach tailoring Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, and Client Centered approaches. Harmonic balance is key to living not just a healthy life but a fulfilling life.
