Hello! My name is Lynne. I am a licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as well as a National Certified Counselor. My approach is a collaborative one for helping you find answers and/or increased mental comfort in your daily life. My experiences include working for a Native American Wellness Center where I was the Mental Health Therapist. While there, I simultaneously became the Interim Clinic Director and Drug & Alcohol Counselor. I have worked in county mental health, which included on-call crisis intervention and visits to a hospital and jail. I have also worked as an individual, family, and group counselor in a juvenile treatment facility where I developed and ran a substance abuse program and had involvement with teen drug court. I've worked with youth, individuals, couples, and families in private and/or non-profit settings and have met with children four years old and up. My approach is generally solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral (using play therapy modality with children). I look forward to meeting you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Lynne Goldsmith. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
It's interesting the way it works, at least with me. There were no suggestions, no "try these 3 ways of keeping your cool" or "you need to let go of the past and feel the present", no straight, concrete answers given. Just asking a lot of questions and subtly poking at things until I stumble upon things that kinda work, things that need work, and things that don't and next thing you know, you have all the components of an answer.
And it's like realizing your asking for a fish and they taught you how to fish instead. She's good. Really good. It just takes time. And patience. And self-forgiveness when you don't do as well as you hoped when you started or as fast. And the will to keep with it anyways. Lynne's good with that. Keeping at your pace, helping you figure out how you work and how to optimize yourself, and helping you recognizing every step you took, even if you don't notice it. Therapy is mostly a you thing. Your experiences, your relationships, what it means to be healthy for you, how you be healthy and how you cope when you aren't. It's your journey, Lynne just make for a good vague wizard that keeps giving advice in riddles that isn't understood until the last half an hour of a movie. And it's always a good idea to listen to what the wizard has to say.
Lynne is an outstanding listener. Very supportive, always sending articles and additional information in-between sessions. I always look forward to our sessions because they are so helpful.
I can’t thank Lynn for talking with me being there to listen to me offering me great advice. When has been so amazing and I can’t thank her enough
