About me

Hello!
My name is Lysbeth Moore. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Educator in Georgia. I have been counseling clients for over thirteen years, as well as teaching psychology courses at a local university for eight years. I provide a safe, warm, trusting environment, and believe in treating clients with upmost respect, dignity and privacy. I use a MIND, BODY, SPIRIT approach when counseling, and believe that a strong, therapeutic relationship will enhance client growth and change.

I believe one treatment approach does not meet all client needs. Therefore, I use an eclectic approach to counseling. This is an open, integrative form of psychotherapy that adapts to the unique needs of each specific client, depending on the problem, the treatment goals, and the persons expectations and motivation. It also involves whichever technique might work best for the client and their circumstances. Every client is different; therefore, this approach seems to work best for me and the client.

I have helped individuals, as well as children, and teenagers, with a variety of different issues to include the following: ADHD, Family conflict, Self Esteem Issues, School and career concerns, Anger, Communication problems, Depression, Anxiety, Addiction and many more issues!

Life can be challenging at times. Seeking someone to help you is a difficult step, but sometimes very necessary. Being HAPPY, and your AUTHENTIC SELF, is all within your reach! Let me help you overcome what is bothering you, in a supportive, warm, trusting, therapeutic environment.
