I am a licensed therapist in the state of Colorado and possess a Master's Degree in clinical mental health counseling from Denver Seminary. I find that I am most sought out by clients who seek to navigate life transitions and spiritual concerns in light of a personal history of trauma. I have extensive experience working with survivors of sexual trauma, as well as individuals struggling with anxiety, spiritual concerns, or difficulty maintaining meaningful relationships.
My approach with my clients is always one of a collaborative nature. While I maintain expertise related to counseling and various therapeutic modalities I will never claim to be an expert on you or your story. I believe therapy works best when we are both fully bringing our areas of expertise to the table. If something isn't working at any time, especially as we are beginning a relationship, I welcome feedback so that we can collaborate best to meet your needs.
During sessions, I utilize mindfulness-based, narrative, and psychodynamic modalities. While many of my clients have experienced difficult life circumstances, I find that few of my clients begin the counseling journey because of those circumstances. Instead, people begin counseling because they are experiencing "side effects" of life's difficulties. Perhaps you are having difficulty sleeping or are feeling flooded with anxious thoughts and having difficulty concentrating in the work place. Perhaps your relationships feel more strained and close friends or family members wondering when you will "just calm down." Perhaps you no longer feel like you have control over what you are eating and drinking. I am equipped to process traumatic events with those who seek my help. However, I always begin the therapeutic relationship by seeking to equip each client with tangible coping skills so that daily life can begin to feel more manageable.
I find hope and joy in watching individuals heal from their experiences and develop healthy coping skills and hope that we can collaborate together soon.

Christian has been quick to identify the things I struggle with and offer support as well as good resources, and is a great guide in my journey so far.
The time that I've spent communicating with Christian has been great. I am extremely grateful to have her as a counselor as the pairing could not be more perfect. From the very first point of contact, she has created a space for easy, open, and honest communication. Thank you, Christian for your thoughtful and caring interactions. I am most appreciative!
I strongly recommend BetterHelp and specifically Christian as a counselor. I am currently working through a lot in my personal life and it is so comforting to know I always have someone to reach out to and work with.
Very good therapist! Would recommend to my friends, family, etc.
She is amazing. She listens and makes me feel safe and heard. I really appreciate Christian.
Christian’s incisiveness is paralleled by her compassion, warmth and ability to be professional yet very real and genuine, giving me the space to share and explore some areas of my thoughts and feelings that I’ve found hard to discuss with even my closest friends. I’m grateful for her help and would recommend Christian any time.
Christian was an attentive listener and an active counselor. She led me to some amazing material and provided me with meaningful analysis of my situation.
Christian in few words is just what i needed to get through a tough time. She easily identified my problems helped me understand them and showed me the techniques to deal with them. I am grateful for her and I will be happy to have her again as my counselor in future challenges.
She is very nice and offers alternative solutions. She is supportive and understanding.
I’ve been working with Christian a few weeks now and I feel like I’m making a lot of progress. I like the worksheets she provides and how she helps me reflect on things.
