About Me

Hello, I am Maggie Maurer, a LMSW Clinical Therapist from Michigan. I am a optimistic and passionate leader who is eager to walk beside you as you transform and work toward the life goals you are striving for. Throughout my career as a social worker and therapist the common theme has been advocate; advocate for survivors of sexual assault, advocate for mothers overcoming addiction, advocate for the homeless, advocate for parents fighting for their children. I chose this path because I am truly interested in the story each person has to tell and find myself truly in awe of what a person in a mindset of change is capable of.

My treatment approach begins with your strengths and how we can build on what is already working well. I focus on solutions derived from small points of change that create a big impact. I routinely facilitate reviews of goal progress to ensure your time and energy is well spent.

I hope we can work together soon and look forward to learning more about you.

Absolutely wonderful, helped me through a rough time with college and went out of her way to be as helpful to me as possible. Wonderful therapist, highly recommend.

Maggie has been absolutely wonderful. She is a great listener, and offers incredible tips to help work through anxiety. It was great being able to relate to the struggles of motherhood as well. Would highly recommend Maggie!

Maggie is amazing. I'm going through some extremely hard family stuff and she checks on me through the week. She goes above and beyond for me. I appreciate her very much and all the new things she has taught me.

I knew I needed counseling but making it a priority is difficult with how busy life can be. I’m so glad I did with how much Maggie has helped. Our sessions are about my goals of growth and her helping give me tools, insight, and holding me accountable.

Work with me!
