Hi, my name is Mallorie Ely. After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Idaho in 2006 I have been working in the mental health field. I received my Masters in Social Work from Boise State University in May 2013. I currently work with children, families, and adults of all ages. I have experience with a range of situations from depression, anxiety, trauma, transitioning into adulthood, parenting, anger management, and relationship issues.
I utilize the approach of supporting everyone in developing insight, empowerment, and coping tools that uniquely support them. I believe that everyone’s journey with therapy is unique and work to empower each person to develop personalized goals. Having someone outside of your daily relationships can help give you support and perspective to situations that you are experiencing. As a therapist I want to help you find your confidence to be able to conquer challenges of life.

Mallorie has been a major supporter and advisor in making positive changes in my life. Her expertise has helped me make important decisions. I am extremely thankful to have been matched up with her. her.
Mallorie Ely is nothing short of a credit to her career field. I have and continued to struggle at finding my place on the grid of meaning, and though I continue to struggle, Mallorie helped me to realize that my feelings were normal and justified. For the first time in a while, I feel that there is a possibility that my feelings surrounding my depression, lostness and weakness can be explored, and maybe even treated. I highly recommend her to anyone who feels that they're lost in the woods with no one to tell them that it's okay.
Mallorie is truly awesome. She is so kind and perceptive, and she has been such a great help over this past year. Her integrative approach and ability to be flexible have been truly beneficial in my journey with my mental health struggles. She's a really great counselor and I am very glad I'm working with her.
Mallorie is amazing and has truly helped me overcome some hurdles during Covid-19 and this crazy 2020 year. I'm so thankful for her advice and counsel. :)
Mallorie is great! I had lots of stuff to apply after just our first call and have seen so much improvement in my mindfulness and anxiety levels. She’s very understanding and will ask you hard questions that will make you really think! Definitely would recommend :)
Mallorie is very good at listening and helping me sort my emotions. She comes up with good alternative ways it looking at my issues and thinking about my struggles.
I'm a bit unresponsive due to my habit of bottling up but I always feel like she is here for me and cares. She offers me ways to deal with my problems outside of the direct chat which is great and offers me other ways to chat (I'm not really comfortable with that, over the phone stuff just never sits well with me regardless of who it is). She is very professional. I'm a bit more inclined/used to talking with people who aren't as professional and are a lot more laid back but I can appreciate the professionalism too.
