About me

Hello and Welcome!

Congratulations on taking the first step to making a change. It is not easy.

I am an EMDR certified therapist who specializes in complex trauma, eating disorders and body image issues. I have my MSW from Indiana University and I have my LCSW in the state of Indiana and California. I have a private practice in San Diego. My experience has been with all sorts of clients of all ages. I have worked in an inpatient psychiatric unit, a school, a crisis unit, a community mental health center and for the last several years my own private practice. As an avid athlete as well, I have a strong interest in incorporating health and wellness into my practice.

My theoretical orientation is Eclectic , I am inspired by CBT, DBT and mindfulness. I also use EMDR often in my practice and have found it especially helpful with trauma.

I am very open to using modern technology as a treatment modality and see it is the modern and convenient. It is a real pleasure to help you using this groundbreaking platform. I enjoy using unique and creative therapeutic techniques tailored to you as a person. I have a strong skill set in understanding the brain as well as family and relationship dynamics. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. We all need to feel connected and heard. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Mandy is extremely nice and supportive. She always makes sure that I know that our sessions are a safe judgment free zone and she's been helping me deal with Issues since day one. I look forward to talking with her every week and telling her about my life, also hearing her professional input and getting guidance from her.
