I have been in the behavioral health/helping profession for approximately 21 years and have been licensed for 10 of those years as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Arkansas. I completed my graduate education at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock in Rehabilitation Counseling and was recognized for academic achievements while in school by being inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. I received my undergraduate degree from Arkansas Technical University in Rehabilitation Science with emphasis areas of study being in various subjects. I have a holistic approach helping others and have worked with multidisciplinary teams in the past which has provided me with outside resources as needed. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, nonjudgmental care that encourages and fosters growth. My focus is on helping others utilize their own individual personal strengths and milestones to promote healing which has generously returned positive results and achieved outcomes. My counseling style person centered, authentic, and provides warm and encourages communication. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling, amongst others that are deemed appropriate based on your needs. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, physical/emotional trauma, career challenges, OCD and ADHD, job stressors, life purpose, phase of life issues, grief/loss, and others that are not listed.
