About me

Hello, I'm Marnie Fulton, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia. I'm also a licensed telehealth provider in the state of Florida. I earned my Bachelor of Social Sciences at Oglethorpe University and a Master of Social Work at University of Georgia. I have worked in both community behavioral health as well as within private companies providing substance abuse recovery and mental health services. I have owned my own practice for twenty plus years working with individuals, couples, teens and families focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, chronic medical illness, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, as well as life transition changes.

I believe in a positive, strengths-based approach utilizing cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques. Making the choice to seek therapy is a difficult one and I am happy you have decided to reach out to BetterHelp for services. The first order of business is for us to develop a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship so you feel confident to express yourself in a safe and supportive environment. I believe our work is based on a team approach where we work together to achieve your desired goals. Once we identify your desired goals I can provide tools to help you achieve those goals.

I look forward to working with you!

Marnie is absolutely amazing. She’s one of the sweetest therapists I’ve had thus far which is huge considering I thought I’d never find another one I liked. I spent years looking. She absolutely understands my needs and encourages me to make good decisions to help in my journey of self discovery.
