I have worked in the Mental Health field for 16 years in several capacities from inpatient hospitals to Outpatient treatment programs. I have experience in the areas of drug and alcohol addiction treatment, Depression, Anger management and Co-parenting counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I utilize 12 steps in addictions treatment along with other interventions such as CBT, DBT, Existential Therapy and Solution-focused brief therapy. My method is to employ the most appropriate approach for each individual's unique situation.
I make it my priority to be genuine and authentic while ensuring that every client gets something from every session. Mental Health is an important part of our lives as humans and should not be taken lightly. I will ensure that I treat each and every individual with empathy and respect.
