Hello there! I am so glad you are here.
I have extensive experience in helping individuals, couples and groups with anxiety, depression, prenatal/postpartum mood disorders, substance use, stress within relationships, etc. For most of my career, I have worked with individuals who wish to focus on addressing triggers, identifying strengths and brainstorming coping skills and strategies for living happier, fuller lives.
I attended Saint Louis University for undergraduate studies where I graduated with a degree in social work and a minor in Theological Studies. I continued at SLU where I received a Master's Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on health and mental health.
I have been a social worker for 12+ years and a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) for seven years. I am fully licensed in the state of Missouri where I reside. I am particularly passionate about a work/life balance and ways to be present as a mom but also effective as a clinician. Like most things in life, it is a balancing act!
I believe that you are the expert of your story. I also believe that we all have strengths that propel us forward and simultaneously things that may be holding us back from living out best lives. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started. We are in this together!
Additional areas of focus: Trauma and abuse, Intimacy-related issues, Coping with life changes, Compassion fatigue, Codependency, Communication Problems, Drug and Alcohol Addiction, Family Problems, Postpartum Depression, Social Anxiety and Phobia
Clinical approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Mrs Egan patiently listened to me. She comprehends me and tries her best to advice me to move on in my life. I look forward to meeting and chatting with her every time. I welcome the time sheets and other tools she has thus far used to help me. Thank you.
