Hello. My name is Maggie.
I have been practicing therapy for over 25 years in Midwest.
I believe in treating individuals with respect and dignity and protecting their privacy.
I have enjoyed helping people with all sorts of issues for success.
I am a trained creative arts therapist, life coach and professional counselor.
I believe in the mantra of helping individuals become the best they can be.
Sometimes there are bumps in the road that cause difficulties and may cause stress and anxiety.
Maybe depressive thoughts that are difficult to overcome.
I can help by giving suggestions and personalizing your goals.
Some specific areas that I work
with are individuals who have ongoing health concerns that are chronic ,
or physical disabilities.
There are solutions and together we can work on goals to alleviate your emotions and make progress towards a happier life.
Also, we can work on different strategies for success in the long term.
Everyone runs into difficulties along the way of life, so it's important to take that first step to make things better for yourself to enjoy life and
be the best you can be.
I am a eclectic therapist. One size does not fit all, so together we can personalize your therapeutic goals to achieve a better understanding of your concerns
and ways to approach issues as they come up. You are in the driver's seat on the road to success. Lets begin the process!
- Stress, Anxiety
- Self esteem
I also have experience in Addictions, LGBT, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Anger management, Career difficulties

Really happy with Margaret. She works through everything you say and makes sense of it all, offering advice and explanations. She’s always on hand to check in and gets back to you promptly.
I appreciate Margaret’s timely response and checking on me when I don’t initiate anything. We have just started and I am happy with her at this time. I look forward to continuing our relationship
Margaret is really cool. She doesn't try to find impossible solutions to impossible problems but instead offers coping mechanism which actually work. Also, she's not one of those therapists who will pretend like she knows everything that you are going through, instead she'll ask and listen and make you feel like she is there for you.
Knowledgeable and friendly. Maggie is prompt to respond and respectful.
I would recommend her. She helped me more than she knows. Not sure I would have made it through it all. Thank you so very much!
Counselor Margaret Mccready gave me lots of information and worksheets to work on. She checks up on me when I go quiet and she actually cares. I have become so much better with my anxiety and knowing myself better and believing in what I can achieve. Thank you, Margaret.
You are wonderful
Margaret has been really helpful with the introduction of coping strategies in my everyday life to deal with my overwhelming emotions. It has given me the opportunity to really dive into who I am as a person and really focusing on loving myself.
