Margaret Moore

About Me

Welcome, my name is Margaret Moore and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts. I have over 16 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, individual adults and couples. I have worked as a counselor for 10 years. I have worked with clients who identify themselves as straight, members of the LGBTQ+ community, men, women and other varied cultures and diversity. I have also worked with military members and their families. I am so glad you are reaching out for support and reviewing counselors’ profiles. I know it can be difficult to do so and I applaud your courage. I utilize various approaches in counseling including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused and Mind Body connections.
My approach to therapy is to work with my clients to identify the areas of their lives that they want to focus on and the goals that they have for counseling. I believe in a united approach where we work together to achieve your goals and provide you with healthy strategies to manage the stressors and challenges you feel. I am an open, non - judgmental therapist who uses humor and is committed to working with you collaboratively. I look forward to working with you.

My sessions with Margaret have helped me to reflect and think of healthier ways of coping/dealing with my concerns and challenges. With that said, I have learned to look at my circumstances differently which have helped me to search/find better solutions.

Margret has been wonderful. She is personable, knowledgeable, down to earth, and empathetic.

Margret follows up when I lose track of time and I look forward to booking future sessions.
