I am a psychotherapist (LMFT#107651) licensed in California and have been providing mental health services for over 6 years. I have worked for Non Profit organisations with the goal to provide services to those who too often have limited access to the resources they need and desire. This lead to my work with individuals and families who have experienced trauma and abuse as well as a wide range of concerns such as stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, substance abuse, and adoption/foster care. I also became a rostered Child-Parent Psychotherapy provider and a fellow of the Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship. I have extensive experience with parenting, pregnancy, fertility, and various family constellations (LGBTQ, adoption, foster care, blended families...)
Throughout my childhood and adulthood I have lived in several countries, including France, Switzerland, Spain, Canada and the US. I have a personal and professional understanding of the impact of transitions, first-and-second generation conflict, the Expat experience, and the Third Culture Kid experience.
My therapeutic approach is nonjudgmental, open, and supportive with a touch of humour. I believe my clients to be the experts of their own lives who invite me in to help guide and support them to meet their goals. I collaborate with you by holding up a mirror to reflect on your past and present and by providing tools and strategies to overcome obstacles and challenges. Together, we can explore the way your experiences are shaped by your thoughts, perceptions, emotions, and behaviours to identify what no longer serves you and to reinforce what does.
Healing occurs in the context of relationships and through our experiences with the world within and around us. I use a combination of approaches that I tailor to the needs and strengths of my clients. These include person-centered/humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, attachment-based, and strength-based.
In terms of creating and maintaining a healthier life, the difference between doing nothing and doing something is everything – no matter how small that something is. By contacting a therapist you have taken the first leap towards the change you seek. Congratulations!
I look forward to our work together!

Margaux has been extremely helpful in recognizing negative patterns and beliefs about myself I don’t know if I could have recognize on my own. She has always been respectful and helpful with any situation I bring up
I'm so glad that I found Better Help, and that I was connected with Margaux, whose expertise and experience are a great fit for me. Margaux has made me feel extremely comfortable talking about difficult subjects, and has provided a mix of listening, talking and practical tools that has really worked for me over the past two or three months. In the past, counselling activities have often become an additional source of anxiety for me, but I don't feel this at all with Margaux. I look forward to our sessions and I often refer back to previous exchanges too.
Margaux has given the space to express my deepest concerns and uncertainties about myself and is guiding me towards a path of understanding those reponses and those thoughts. She is helping me understand all the tools and habits that I can teach myself to confronting these situations in the future instead of avoiding them.
Margaux has helped me a lot with finding out what my core issues. When I speak with her during our sessions I feel like I'm speaking with a friend and she put me at ease fast. She is also very professional. I definitly recommend! :)
She has been checking up on me since the moment I signed up and has been really respectful with me taking my time. She respond in a timely manner and she’s over all a good at making you feel confortable.
