About Me

Welcome. I am a licensed mental health therapist in Washington State with over with over 18 years of experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, parenting problems, and educational and career challenges. My approach to counseling has been shaped through my work with children, teens, families, and individuals in varied settings with clients from diverse backgrounds. This experience has influenced and helped to grow my commitment to providing collaborative, compassionate support throughout the therapeutic relationship.

Positive change is an attainable goal. At times in our lives it can feel insurmountable to effect the change we want. Counseling can help by providing a safe, supportive, compassionate environment that allows us to authentically examine issues and concerns, and to identify ways to cope with and decrease distress. It can help to create and restore hope and purpose. My therapy style is person-centered with a focus on a collaborative, respectful relationship that emphasizes strengths, empowerment, and goals. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, solution-focused, psychodynamic, and existential therapy.

Creating the change you wish for is a kind of journey and I would be honored to travel that path with you. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Margo Davis. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Written by C.A. on Jun 23, 2022 after therapy with Margo for 2 weeks on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, self esteem, career difficulties, coping with life changes, compassion fatigue, and adhd

Margo has provided a safe space for me, my feelings, my thoughts and soul to be shared genuinely and fully without the fear of being judged. She doesn't reach out for my decisions but helps me understand my processing, my struggles and thoughts. We have clicked amazingly well and I adore having her as my confidant and therapist. She was my second therapist ever and I have clicked tremendously with her I don't see myself seeing anyone else for a long time.

Margo was helpful, supportive and kind. She listened and provided support creating a supportive environment which nurtured my emotional confidence. She is funny and witty and a joy to work with.
