About me

Welcome to the world of therapy and exploration.

To some, it may sound fascinating, but I understand it can also feel daunting. My priority is you and how comfortable you feel to share your experience and feelings. I am committed to work with you in a way that you are in control of the process and at a pace that feels manageable.

We all face difficulties in your relationships (intimate, professional, social etc), we may experience loss, pain, anxiety, confusion/indecision, anger, or we may feel different than others and/or disconnected. We all carry some pain and darkness within, and it is very important that we can share this pain, load and despair with a trusted and impartial other.

My aim is to support you in finding ways to reach your potential and goals, exploring, and discovering yourself and your choices, and to live a fulfilling life as you have imagined it. I am committed to be a co-explorer of your experiences, feelings, and desires and to support you through challenges and changes. I understand that each one of us has unique temperament, beliefs, experiences, needs and dreams; all of which needs to be seen, understood, and attended to. This will take place in a confidential and safe space where there is no room for judgement or prejudice. Adults of all cultures, sexual orientations, religious backgrounds, and neurodiversity are welcome to my practice.

As an integrative psychotherapist, my therapeutic approach and interests revolve around psychodynamic, relational, cognitive-behavioural, and existential modalities. I see the self as a whole and looking closer there are many layers and dimensions that they all play a role in the psychological make up. Some events or difficulties that feel superficial, shed light on deeper structures or what we sometimes call the ‘’emotional blueprint’’. Later, this emotional blueprint can let you understand yourself better, which will then allow you to make your desirable changes.

Additionally, coming with a background in clinical and cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology, my therapeutic approach takes into account cognitive aspects, and is informed by neuroscientific research.

Over the years, I have worked with individuals facing psychiatric issues, trauma, addiction, and brain injury, both in the private and in partnership with NHS.
