In my 5 years experience as a therapist so far, I have found that the key to recovery is learning new self-care & coping skills to help you ADAPT more easily to changes in life with a more positive and accepting attitude, and to learn how to TAKE CONTROL of your own thoughts, emotions and choices, resulting in better relationships.
I offer telehealth therapy sessions exclusively now (called "teletherapy"), after having no choice but online sessions since the pandemic started, and discovering that teletherapy really helps and can make a big difference! I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, relationship and self-esteem problems, and I love to help clients unpack and look at their personal issues and challenges in a safe and caring environment.
I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT), connecting past emotional wounds to present emotional and relationship problems (Psychodynamic Therapy), and teach Mindfulness to help my clients build healthy coping skills and learn to take control of their emotions, thoughts and behaviors. I teach clients how to set healthy boundaries, develop new self-care habits and Mindfulness skills to build up their self-compassion and relaxation/calming skills.
