About Me
I am a person centred and psychodynamic counsellor in Scotland, UK. I trained at the University of Edinburgh. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can explore the issues that are troubling you. I listen carefully to you and can offer support and insight. I have helped clients with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, living abroad, stress, issues related to neuro-diversity (particularly autism and ADHD), relationship issues, self esteem and self confidence, chronic illness, isolation, eating disorders, loneliness, parenting, eating disorders, illness, separation and coping with the pandemic. I am an ally to LGBTQ+ folks and aware of issues around gender dysphoria.
I find that the client is always the expert on themselves, but a listening ear can help in getting to unearth that knowledge within.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you.

Marian has been an amazing help for me. She’s listened to me and showed a lot of compassion. She truly cares for her patients and she has given me invaluable advice in all the problems I shared with her. I feel much stronger and positive after working with Marian and I honestly recommend her, if you’re looking for someone who will genuinely care and guide you!
