With over 40 years of distinguished professional experience, I am a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy and counseling to adults and children in Maryland. My career has been shaped by a commitment to both direct clinical work and research focused on improving outcomes for marginalized populations.
My research journey has included collaborations with leading institutions such as the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, the Bloomberg School of Public Health, and the University of Maryland Department of Psychiatry. Inspired by these experiences and my own clinical practice, I pursued and earned my PhD from the University of Maryland-Baltimore School of Social Work, graduating in 2019.
For the past twelve years, I have specialized in supporting adults facing challenges such as depression, stress, anxiety, relationship conflicts, trauma, abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.
