Mariel Gebhardt, LCSW
About me
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I take a strengths-based approach in helping clients reach personal goals for well-being. Self-care, coping skills, positive communication, social supports, and a belief in the dignity and worth of each person are central to my work.
I work with clients facing a variety of symptoms and struggles. Adjustment issues, phase of life problems, early adulthood challenges, anxiety, mild depression, bereavement, and grief related to relationship losses are some of my areas of experience. Some of my favorite work is in supporting individuals who are taking on new adventures...new to Alaska, starting a new job/career, newly married, and new moms. Work with young adults taking on adult responsibilities is also something I enjoy.
It is a privilege to provide support in the present moment, as well as to assist in each client’s journey to a fulfilling future.
