About Me

Marriage, divorce, parenting, aging, caregiving, work and health concerns are common stressors in our world today. The mind and body are intertwined and we now know that stress impacts overall health. The process of change from self discovery to self reliance is a stressful endeavor in personal growth. My style focuses on a client's increased awareness and becoming mindful along their path. Solution focused methods address the identified problems for developing an action plan towards well being. An integrated approach supports the person to be fully involved in their own process of healing.

My work as an LMFT spans over 29 years of service to individuals, couples and families with issues in relationships and life transitions. That includes military families, families impacted by substance abuse, and those with chronic health concerns I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist in both Oklahoma and New Mexico.

In seeking a therapist, look for a potential to connect with the provider and their style. I would be happy to explore the possibility in providing support through your own growth process.

Dr. Parker has been so insightful during our sessions. I’ve participated in counseling previously, and had a good experience, but even at that I was surprised and pleased with how easy the conversation flowed during our sessions right off the bat. Dr. Parker has a keen ability to ask just the right question or say just the right thing to help me think and explore a situation or attitude. I’ve really enjoyed chatting with her over the past few weeks and I love how warm and compassionate her conversational style is. I’ve had a perfectly lovely experience and would highly recommend the services of the delightful Dr. Parker to anyone and everyone. 11/10. Would let her shrink my brain again.

I felt an instant connection with Dr. Parker. I really decided I was going to be completely transparent in this process and I opened up pretty quickly about the areas in my life I struggle with. She did a great job at sizing up my family problems and being honest about areas I need to improve in. It’s really great to talk to someone about your feelings and to work towards growing as a person... also while being at home!
