I am a licensed mental health counselor in Washington state with four years experience working with individuals struggling with addictions, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, and posttraumatic stress disorders. I have worked with women who were in domestic violence relationships living in shelters. I have worked with women in recovery in substance use treatment services wanting better lives for them and their children. While in this position I learned a great deal about about trauma and survival.
I went back to school in my early 40's transitioning from an automotive mechanic to mental health counseling. I have lived in California, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, and Washington state where I currently reside. My counseling style is client centered and eclectic with a little humor. I have recently been training in eye movement desensitization reprocessing or EMDR and internal family systems. I think of myself as a culturally competent individual with a open mind and try my best to be nonjudgmental. I am Native American and have a spiritual perspective and believe all living things should be respected.
Change is hard and it takes courage and hard work, it can be scary at times, however you do not have to do it alone. I would like to work with you in seeing you through to the end and a life worth living. Life is a journey with lessons that can be hard and rewarding at the same time. I try and provide two skills per-week, you can use what you want and leave the rest. These skills do work, however only if you practice them.

Marion is an excellent therapist so far in our first two sessions. She is Action-oriented and I feel very safe with her already.
My first session with Marion I unloaded a bunch of stuff from my life. She directed me to the pertinent things I can be aware of and work on right now. I appreciate her knowledge and look forward to working with her.
Marion has helped me identify issues within myself but also issues that had affected my relationships with everyone and truly think about how I approach these relationships. She is brutally honest and tells me things I need to know, not need to hear.
She is the best.
Marion responds quickly with good information and genuine support.
I had never done therapy via an app or any kind of online space. I was hesitant who I might get paired up with - I wanted someone who could not only understand what I was going through but offer actionable suggestions. Marion has been a great resource for my situation. After implementing the suggestions she had for me, the peace of mind that has come as an outcome is invaluable. I could not have asked to been paired up with a better counselor.
Within our first 20 minutes, Marion helped me reach a breakthrough understanding of myself and past events in my life. Her ability to take in my jumbled thoughts, sort through key details, and help me make sense of my emotions is outstanding. Our journey is very early in its path, but I look forward to working with her more ahead!
Very attentive and helpful! I am thankful that I have found a counselor that I believe understands my PTSD and has a great approach for treatment
Marion has been extremely supportive and eager to help. Our session was informative and I received great feedback and validation and felt like I was heard. Marion provides recommendations for next steps, which is helpful, and provides a plan for my sessions and what I get to practice in my day-to-day life. I'm also thankful for her flexibility and appreciate her willingness to provide support in other ways!
Marion has been great. She checks in often, via message and has given me great feedback and asks great questions.
