About me

If you haven't been in counseling before or have and are ready to try again, I'm committed to helping you learn what to do and discover real solutions to problems. Counseling can help you discover your true and authentic voice. In the safety of acceptance and understanding you can experience the process of self-reflection and learn to manage uncomfortable feelings like doubt, fear, anger and hurt.
As a specialized relationship counselor, I have been in practice for 35 years. I have served in private practice, community agencies, in patient treatment and assisted the military and their families during deployment. I have also served as an adjunct professor in Psychology and Alcohol and Drug Studies. I have worked as a clinical supervisor for MFT interns and trainees.
I use an eclectic approach to counseling customizing the therapy to the individual and the presenting problem. I have specialized in assisting individuals with depression, anxiety, loss, grief, and trauma. I have also worked with couples healing and recovering from infidelity.
I offer expert attention, the best of my knowledge and 35 years of experience. I have a warm, friendly, relaxed style to help you feel more at ease. You have already taken the first step in seeking help. I would be pleased to talk with you about ways in which I can be of help.
