Welcome! I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor for over 15 years and I understand the unhappiness that chronic anxiety, depression and stress can create. Whether you're struggling with anxiety or depression and are constantly being bullied by intrusive thoughts of overwhelm and want to develop resilient coping skills, this approach is ideal for you. You will be fully empowered to take control over the direction of your life and master your inner world by establishing an effective relationship with thoughts and feelings. This is the key: learning how your thoughts are fueling your unhappiness and developing the healthy balance of change and acceptance. You will then master your day to day behaviors and live the pleasurable, purposeful life you deserve.
My proven approach reduces severe anxiety, overwhelm and depression by transforming the core problem, your unhealthy relationship with thoughts. I know the toll overwhelming thoughts can have on us and have developed this approach by integrating evidenced-based therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), for quick and lasting change. This results driven approach will free you from the prison of your mind.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Mark Stoll. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Mark has been a great helper for me and has definitely impacted my perspective on my thoughts and life in general. I am glad that my first experience with a therapist was welcoming and memorable. I respect his approach and wish the best for his future endeavours.
Mark is very understanding, and it's clear from the beginning he's there to support you. Of course that doesn't mean agreeing with everything you say, but it does mean he helps you question the things that are unhealthy that you just accept. I know I can talk to him about anything and don't need to worry about being judged.
I didn’t opt into therapy because I considered my mental health to be awful, I just felt the need to offload my thoughts to someone who wouldn’t judge me and would be able to provide insightful and valuable responses and Mark has been able to accommodate all of my needs and make me feel heard and validated. I would 100% recommend Mark as a counsellor for anyone and I’m excited to see how our conversations evolve in the coming months!
Mark is very sharp and comes up with the write questions each time. Unlike my previous counselor, Mark not only just listen to everything but also ask the perfect questions that gets the conversation to an entirely diff level.
I feel very safe and understood during our sessions. It's the first time I have a consellor who goes straight to the point of what he thinks (but without forcing you to agree if you don't) and gives dynamic options to work on between the sessions. It's still early at the moment to see if I make progress but I feel confident enough to say that it will happen at some point. I already feel a bit better about myself and try to be more aware about how my old defensive mechanisms work to hopefully change them in a long run.
