About me

Hello! My name is Martha Anderson,. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider with 26 years of experience in the counseling field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma disorders (including complex trauma), personality disorders, and gender dysphoria. I am also an advocate for the LGBTQ community, and have helped clients navigate the stages of their journey, helping them to find their inner strength and courage, and live their best lives, despite the barriers they may face.

I see the therapeutic process as a collaborative one between therapist and client, and work with clients on mapping out their life worth living based on each client' individual needs, goals and concerns. My therapeutic approach combines components of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

It takes an incredible amount of courage to seek help, and I am here to support you if you are ready. I look forward to working with you!!

Martha is a wonderful and understanding therapist who meets you wherever you are. She’s been so wonderful and good for me in this unexpectedly incredibly difficult season of life and grief.
She makes me feel heard and let’s me feel what I’m feeling with no judgement or shame - absolutely wonderful.
