Martha Chapa-Padilla, LMFT
About me
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I have worked with adults, children, teens, couples, and families in a variety of mental health settings for the past 13 years. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and grief. I have also helped many people who have experienced physical/sexual trauma and/or emotional abuse.
My counseling style combines cognitive-behavioral, strength-based and solution-focused approaches which I feel helps clients reach their full potential and be able to use the strengths they already posses to find solutions to life's challenges. Overall, I would describe myself as a very compassionate, understanding, and down to earth person who truly enjoys getting to know my clients and working with them to achieve their goals and live a life worth living!
I look forward to getting to know you and working with you!

She’s attentive and real. She’s a clear communicator. Empathetic. Kind. Professional. I hope she enjoys her job. She’s great at it.

Martha has been extremely helpful for my life. She listens and gives me tools that I can use whenever my problems come up. Questioning my thoughts instead of blindly believing everything I think/assume is something that I can use for the rest of my life. She has taught me how to deal with my control issues as well. I can't recommend Martha enough.
